May they live happily ever after

Magnetic Island weddings have been keeping me busy through winter time. Mel and Tom were married on Magnetic Island Sat 8th August 2015 at the lovely (and very private) Arthur Bay beach. The day was sunny and warm, around 23 degrees in the afternoon. The recent cool wind had all but disappeared, which was a relief to the bride who wore a backless dress and looked absolutely beautiful. A ring warming with the mothers of the bride and groom added something very touching to this special ceremony. The groom had arranged one friend to be the go to guy for everything and he did his job splendidly, leaving the bridal party and the bride and groom worry free. A great tip for others, if you have one friend who loves to organise, ask them to take on this role. They can solve all the little issues on the day and are very handy as the person in charge of music. It was wonderful to be part of this couple's special day and I received a sweet message afterwards from Mel which read - "I would like to thank you for such a wonderful ceremony. You seemed to completely understand what we were looking for with our ceremony and helped make it really personal and special. Thank you so much"
